Stress-Free, Professional Environment

Completed in 2007, our new office location was opened so that we could better serve our patients. It was designed to provide you with a comfortable, nonclinical environment that will allow you to relax during the treatment.

When you visit our facility, you can always expect an extremely clean, well-lit office with plenty of parking space directly in front of our main entrance. And because we don't have a traditional medical office, you won't have to deal with a maze-like, multilevel design – our modern facility is very easy to navigate.

Attached to Kent Ophthalmology is Kent Optical, where you can have your prescriptions filled after our examination. There, you will find more than 400 high-quality frames from a massive collection of designers. If, on the off chance you don't find what you are looking for, we can place an order for anything you want. You will be happy to know that Kent Optical is not only for our patients, so don't hesitate to see Elaine any time you like.

We also have a surgical wing of our business, East Bay Surgery, which is located at 440 Swansea Mall Drive in Swansea, MA. Another state-of-the-art facility, our surgery center allows us to perform all the advanced eye procedures you need. If you cannot arrange your own ride on the day of your procedure, we will be happy to provide transportation for you.

To schedule a patient appointment or consultation, please call our office at 401-732-6640 during our office hours.

 

  • Cancellation notice

 

We require a 24 hour notice for all cancellations. If an emergency should arise the patient is exempt from his charge. If notice is not received you will be billed $35 for the time scheduled.

 

  • Transportation Services

 

Transportation Services are available for surgery to the Surgery Center.

 

  • Insurance

 

Kent Ophthalmology accepts Medicare and most major insurance programs. In addition, we are affiliated with many vision service plans which include VSP and Eyemed. Feel free to call and ask if your plan is accepted by our office.
